Do You Qualify?
To qualify for home health services, you must have a medical need for the skilled services of a nurse or therapist. You must meet Medicare’s definition of being homebound. This means that leaving your home requires taxing effort, causing you to leave your home less frequently. You can be temporarily homebound due to an illness or injury.
Amari Home Health Care, Inc. must also receive orders from your doctor to provide home health services. Upon request from you or referral from your doctor, Amari Home Health Care, Inc. will coordinate with your healthcare provider directly.
We can provide home health services in assisted living facilities as well as private residences.
OUR SERVICES
Certified home health aides are available to assist with patients’ personal care, hygiene needs, and light housekeeping under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or therapist.
Skilled Nursing
Our registered nurses and licensed vocational nurses combine the science of nursing with the art of caring. They are qualified and highly trained to perform procedures and interventions such as but not limited to:
- Injections
- Enteral Feeding
- Catheter Care
- Ostomy Care
- Post-Surgical Care
- Diabetic Care and Management
- Medication Management
- Care for Chronic Medical Conditions
Physical therapists provide physician-prescribed treatment aimed at the development and restoration of muscle, skeletal, and joint function.
Occupational therapists help clients regain self-care skills and activities of daily living.
Speech therapists provide corrective therapy to develop or re-establish communication skills.
Social Services
Our professional staff assists patients, their families, and/or caregivers with the traumatic impact of illnesses. They can assist in linking the patients with referrals to agencies that can offer or provide the resources needed for support or additional assistance.
